Bloom of the Spring ft. Marianne

Bloom comes every year and I always want to get my fix of blooming shots (and this year features about 2 more blooming shoots so... prepare for a flood of floral images lol).

This shoot was actually our very first. Marianne and I spoke a lot about making this shoot happen for a long while. It was definitely quite enjoyable and I learned a lot about outdoor ballet shoots. As always, image selection gave me a hard time and it did take me a year to build a sequence I truly enjoyed going through over and over again. Although some of the poses didn't technically hit, I felt myself drawn to the gestures and vibe of such resulting images.
